They snapped in half as I cleaned the lenses today. My guess is the -38 temps alternated with cozy indoor heat, repeated several times over the course of our time here, caused a structural issue in the 8-year old plastic. Nanny's going to need some masking tape for now, and a jar to start saving up her pennies for some new specs.
My sunglasses snapped in last year's cold, and I made a complaint to their manufacturer, who kindly replaced them. This took three months, but. . .
